Roadmap of Outstanding Educators (ROOTS)

ROOTS is short for Roadmap of Outstanding Educators which aim to improve educators’ competencies in areas that are relevant especially in the 21st Century Education. The ROOTS Consultants were equipped with Facilitation and Gamification, as well as Coaching and Mentoring skills. All these skills combined enabled them to transfer the knowledge to other educators based on FIRSTEdu Framework and Learner Experience Coaching for Students (LXCstudents). FIRST is a comprehensive scientific-based framework that promotes Active Deep Learner eXperience and inspires a positive transformation in mindset & behavior. FIRST Framework summarizes 15 principles of learner eXperience categorized under 5 domains namely Focucing on the Learner, Interacting within Positive Group Dynamics, Reviewing Activities Within, Sequencing Activities, and Transforming Learning into Performance. LXCstudents is a tool introduced to transform teachers into educators by using coaching. It provide basic coaching skills to enable teachers to coach students outside classrooms.
